When its the festive time of the year and you need an instant sweet delicacy, undoubtedly this recipe is for you. Although its easy to make but the end product is no less than a gourmet sweet. So instead of going for the ready to eat mix that you get at stores try this recipe which is definitely worth it.

DATABASE OF INGREDIENTS
This needs the least ingredients any dish can use

1. For Gulab Jamun balls
Bread(preferably milk bread)
Milk

2. For syrup
• Sugar 1/2 cup
Water 1 cup
Crushed Cardamom

ALGORITHM FOR PREPARATION

• First for the syrup, put water and sugar with crushed cardamoms in a saucepan and bring it to a boil.
For the balls, cut the brown crust of the bread and put the white soft part of the bread in the blender.
Now take the bread crumbs in a bowl and knead it into a soft dough using milk.
Take this dough and make small spheres, do not apply too much pressure since they may become hard on frying.
Put these balls in the fryer till golden brown. Keep them on low sim or else the insides may remain raw.
• Take out the balls and soak in paper towel to remove excess oil.
• Drop these boils in the syrup, you will see them gaining size because of syrup absorption.

GARNISHING
Sprinkle some chopped almonds or saffron strands.

TIPS
One can use some saffron in the milk for some saffron flavor.
While making balls embed a nut such as pistachio or almond for an element of surprise.
Accompany this with a dollop of vanilla ice-cream for a heavenly  experience.(Personal tip)
